Iranian TeenagerCrowned as World Snooker Champion Hossein Vafaei, the Iranian snooker player, played a shot during the IBSF World Snooker Championship in Bangalore on December 3. The Iranian snooker player Hossein Vafaei defeated Wales star Lee Walker in the final of the IBSF World Snooker Championship. Vafaei, who is 17yearsold, beat Walker 10-9 in the best of 19 frames final after a 10-hour battle to claim the championship in the Indian city of Bangalore. After the match he stated:
Victory of Iranian Wrestler in London Iranian lightweight freestyle wrestler,FarzadJa'fari, won a gold medal at the London Prepares Wrestling International Invitational test event. In this event Ja'fari defeated US wrestler Angel Escobedo 7-3 in the 55-kilogram category. Later on he beat Adrian Hajduk from Poland to reach the final. gold and a bronze.
